The way goes from the coast of Corsica through the Western centre deeply in the Inland. This is why you will appreciate diverse landscapes and have a truly authentic impression of the island.

Day 1: Ajaccio
Arrival at the hotel in Ajaccio. Guests can discover the city and its old fishing port, forts, rows of shopping streets and several paintings honouring Napoléon. You may also want to swim by the beach or the Sanguinaires island with the ferry.
Day 2: Ajaccio – Cargèse
There are several possibilities for this stage. Below is one possibility:
Cycle up a small sinuous street to Col du Listincone, which surmounts the gulf of Lava. Conquer the San Bastiano for an amazing panoramic view on the Corse mountains. The route then leads down to a lovely sandy beach and Sagone. End at the old Greek colony Cargèse to visit a greek-orthodox and a catholic church that stand next to each other.
Distance: 52 or 71 km / 32.3 or 44 mi – Ascent: 725 or 600 m – Descent: 645 or 502 m
Day 3: Cargèse – Evisa
Ascent to the village Piana on top of the gulf of Porto. Short break for a splendid view. The way then leads through the protected area of the Calanche de Piana, where a beautiful tangle of rock needles and granite cones lie submerged from the sea. From there, cycle to Porto and up to Evisa. The town overlooks the gorges of the Spelunca at an altitude of roughly 900m.
Distance: 66 km / 41 mi – Ascent: 1350 m – Descent: 580 m
Day 4: Evisa – Corte
This leg offers diverse landscapes. Cross the shadowy black pine forests of Aitone and Valdu Niellu to reach the mountainous region of Niolu. Before going to the gorges of Scala di Santa Regina, enjoy a moment of respite in Calacuccia.
Distance: 66 km / 41 mi – Ascent: 950 m – Descent: 1350 m
Day 5: The gorges of Restonica
The high Restonica is a Mecca for climbers in Corsica to maximim altitude of 2000m in altitude. The Restonica is also a mountain stream of crystal-clear water which has carved its way in the massive rocks and invites you for a swim. Finish by reaching Grotelle, a small restored shepherd's hamlet, the starting-point of several hiking routes.
Distance: 32 km / 20 mi – Ascent: 930 m – Descent: 930 m
Day 6: Corte – Vizzavona
The stage leads through the Vénacais, famous for its sheep farms and cheese. It is set among copper beeches and black pines in one of the most beautiful forests in Corsica. The way goes up to Vizzavona.
Distance: 32 km / 20 mi – Ascent: 995 m – Descent: 315 m
Day 7: Vizzavona – Ajaccio
There are several possibilities for this stage. Here, we will only present one:
You can reach the pass of Vizzavona within a short time, where a long descent to Ajaccio begins. You will follow the Chemin des ecoliers, which goes from one village to another and also offers a splendid view of the gulf below.End of the cycling trip in Ajaccio
