You will be on a wonderful bike tour amidst some of the prettiest landscapes southern France has to offer. Starting south of the Cevennes, you will make your way through parts of the St. James' way on the path towards Petite Camargue natural reserve with stops planned at medieval abbeys and villages and the coast. Encounter rare species of bird, wild horses and oxen. And of course, there will also be great locals to meet and great regional food to savour.
Day 1: Arrival in Saint-Jean-de-Buèges
Participants will be expected at the guesthouse and wellness spa Saint-Jean-de-Buèges at 4pm.
Day 2: Exploring Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert
The day's tour will go along the Buèges high valley via the plateau of Lavagnes followed by a visit to the village and abbey of Saint-Guilhem. On their way back to the guesthouse, they will pass through the gorges of Hérault and the Causse de la Selle plain.

Day 3: Vallée de l’Hérault and an organic wine tasting
Participants will visit the castle in Brissac for a wine tasting session after a walk around Anglas organic vineyard. They will also be travelling to a new lodging in Sauve accross the old Saint Etienne d'Issensac bridge. Rooms in the new guesthouse will await them.

Day 4: Tour of the southern Cevennes
After a visit of Sauve, participants will traverse the Gardon Valley and pass through the village of Tomac on their way to Anduze. They can also choose to visit Bambousseraie d'Anduze.

Day 5: Vidourle – Camargue
Participants will cycle along the Voie Verte cycling path to the village of Aubais, passing through Sommières and _Junas stone pit_*. Some deserved sleep at a typical Camargue inn will wrap up the day.

Day 6: Aigues Mortes & the salt gardens
Guests will start the day with a visit to the Carbonnière tower. They will then ride to the coast to see the _Espiguette_* salt gardens. Participants may choose to end the day with a Listel wine tasting session, typical of the region.

Day 7: Breakfast before goodbyes
The breakfast will be served in Saint-Laurent-d'Aigouze. Guests may opt to extend their stay in the region.

We have selected comfy family-run lodgings serving delicious regional dishes for you. Although your hosts in the second lodging will not be cooking, they have a selection of nearby restaurants for you to choose from. You will also have a wellness spa to take advantage of on Days 1 & 2.

The legs have very little elevation if any at all and should be no trouble completing on an e-bike. Participants who are looking for something more challenging are welcome to do the legs on a mountain bike. However, those willing to do so should be in good shape.

We encourage participants to take a train to Nîmes or Montpellier to keep carbon emissions low. There is a bus to Ganges from both cities. From there, guests can take a taxi to Saint-Jean-de-Buèges.
