Join us on this 6 day bike tour in Paris and discovery France's famous capital from a completely different perspective! Our original itinerary, prepared by locals and guided by English speaking Paris natives, will take you far off the typical tourist paths, cycling through green districts, narrow passages and along canals, and visiting original museums unknown to most tourists and locals. Our bike tours allow you to experience the city first-hand, meet with its residents and take in the colours and flavours of its diverse cultures. A unique city adventure awaits you!
Day 1: Arrival
Meet our English-speaking tour guide at the hotel, learn about the week's programme and join your fellow travellers for a delicious dinner at a nearby restaurant.
Day 2: Along the city canals
Your first bike tour will take you along the Canal Saint Martin and the Canal de l'Ourcq, crossing several arrondissements and passing numerous watergates and swing bridges. Enjoy a break at the Quai de Jemmapes before continuing on towards the park La Villette at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie and the Grands Moulins de Pantin on the city outskirts.

Day 3: East Paris
Spend the morning exploring Paris on your own initiative. After lunch, the day's guided tour will take you to the eastern part of the city. It includes cycling through charming passages, across the famous Place de la Bastille and along the former rail trail Coulée Verte,visiting some of the city's most interesting, yet largely unknown sights and finally ending at Père Lachaise cemetery.

Day 4: Original museums
Today, your guide will take you on a fascinating cultural tour. You will visit a variety of original museums hidden in city residences, flats and courtyards unknown to most tourists and Paris natives.

Day 5: Green neighbourhoods
Explore the “green districts” in South Paris, recently turned into reduced traffic zones, passing Bercy, the Butte aux Cailles, the Cité universitaire and the Cités d'artistes. Visit the Village de Grenelle, the Castel Béranger and the beautiful 19th century Villas fleuries along the way. An excellent French dinner with your group will round off the day.

Day 6: Departure
Our guided city bike tour ends after breakfast. Take advantage of your remaining time in Paris to explore the city, go shopping or visit one of its beautiful markets and fascinating exhibitions!

5 nights in double bedrooms at a comfortable 3-star hotel in Paris' city centre. All rooms are equipped with private bathrooms, hairdryer, phone, satellite TV, wireless LAN, safe and minibar. The hotel is located 10 minutes from the bike rental.
Single bedrooms available upon request (at a surcharge).
This easy bike tour covers mostly flat roads and bike trails and is therefore suitable for beginners and cycling pros alike. When cycling on city roads, please be sure to keep right and stick to your group.
Rental bikes for this tour are available upon request.

We recommend a low-carbon train ride to Paris Gare de l'Est or Gare du Nord.
While the Grand Paris is quite big, getting around inside it is fairly easy and convenient thanks to a modern, efficient and well-run public transportation system.(RATP)
Airport: Paris Roissy-Charles de Gaulle or Paris Orly. Suburban train (RER) and bus connections to the city centre.
