This extraordinary hiking trip takes you into the wintry mountain and valley landscapes around Mont Blanc, to the dreamy village of Le Fayet in the Arve valley, away from highly frequented tourist areas. Wander through the quiet undergrowth, hike over snow-covered alpine pastures and enjoy spectacular, partially frozen mountainous landscapes. You will explore the secret hiking trails around Contamines-Montjoie, Megève and Cordon before winding down in the spa during baths and massages.
Day 1: Arrival in Le Fayet
Participants meet at the hotel in Le Fayet at around 6:30 in the evening. There will be a short introduction to the tour's itinerary followed by dinner.
Day 2: The valley of Montjoie & Wellness
Participants explore the Montjoie valley at the foot of the Miage before a picnic together with the regional specialities of each participant during lunchtime. On filled stomachs, they will ascend to the highest point of the hike startomg from the church of Notre Dame de la Gorge. Then a gentle descent via the Combe Noire waterfall and relaxation in the spa.

Day 3: The Aravis Mountain Range & Wellness
The foothills of the Aravis mountain range are on the hiking agenda today. Participants hike from Lintre to Pont de la Flée via a forest. Afterwards they will hike over alpine pastures and further over the Praéros and Marcolez chalets with a view of Mont Blanc. Then descent via Courterre, back to the starting point and relaxation in the spa.

Day 4: View of the Mont Blanc
The day's hike begins with a transfer to the hamlet of Leutaz in the municipality of Megève. Ascent via the glades of La Revenaz, Barchamps and La Tête to the Molliettes with a magnificent view of Mont Blanc.

Day 5: Vallon de Bionnassay & Wellness
Participants follow a route in the Vallon de Bionnassay, a side valley of Montjoie. There will be a short transfer, before the day's journey continues to the vantage point with glimpses of the Mont Blanc and other famous peaks. Return through dense undergrowth follow by relaxation at the spa.

Day 6: The Contamines Valley
The tour ends with a hike in the valley of Contamines-Montjoie. Ascent through the forest to the Truc alpine pastures. If the weather permits, climbing the rocky outcrops there is worth it.
End of the winter hiking trip at the hotel in Le Fayet around 16:45.

The hotel has a heated indoor swimming pool with a sauna, whirlpool and atmospheric music as well as a fitness area.
During dinner, participants will have the opportunity to taste the culinary specialities of the region. The extensive lunch picnics are complemented by snacks to take along (dried fruit, chocolate, biscuits). It is also a tradition for the participants to contribute a little something typical of their homeland to the picnic on the first day of hiking. In this way, the participants can get to know the peculiarities of the different regions of Europe. If it is too cold outside for a picnic, your mountain guide will do his best to find shelter in a chalet or hut so that you can enjoy your lunch break in peace.

Terrain: Hilly hiking trails or mountain paths with differences in altitude between 400 and 600m
The hiking times are calculated in such a way that you cover around 250m in altitude per hour on the ascent, 500m on the descent and 3.5km on flat terrain.
All you need to do is carry your personal belongings for the day and your picnic.
We ensure a French, state-certified mountain guide who is a specialist for the region. The trip is in French.

On three days, you can relax in the thermal baths of Saint Gervais (sauna, hamam, relaxation rooms) after the walks.
