Discover the true treasures of the beautiful Mediterranean island on a 6-day hike along its west coast - fabulous mountain lakes, picturesque villages and a full-on view of the splendid Gulf of Porto.
Spend 6 days seeing the best Corsica has to offer. Hike along the coast, enjoy mountain springs after mounting them and savour regional specialities. At the Gulf of Porto, you will find some of the most beautiful parts of the Mediterranean such as Girolata, the Scandola Nature Reserve, the Genoese Towers or the magnificent rocky coves of Piana. Immerse yourself in a dream world of mountains and sea!
Day 1: Deux Sorru
Participants meet at the port station of Ajaccio at 2pm. From there, a bus will take them to their accommodation in centre of the green valley Deux-Sorru.
Day 2: The villages of Macchia
Participants kick-off visiting Macchia, a great place to get their first taste of the island - mountain streams and picturesque villages.
Leg duration: 4hrs 30 min - distance covered: 9km - ascent/descent: +/- 529m
Day 3: Hiking and swimming in Letia
Participants will hike up to the village of Letia via the Mare a Mare nord along the river Liamone. They will explore the village of Muna at the foot of Punta di a Spusata.
Leg duration: 3hrs - distance covered: 6km - ascent: 425m - descent: 290m
Day 4: Creno and its lake
From the village of Soccia, participants will hike to the lake of Creno. Bring along your swimming gear, for on the return route via the wild valley of Zoicu, a variety of natural swimming pools will beckon you for a swim.

Day 5: Ferry from Porto to Scandola
After a short transfer to Porto, participants embark on a boat trip to Scandola and Girolata respectively.
If poor weather conditions do not permit the boat ride, we will organize an alternative route
Day 6: The Capu Rossu
Last leg, participants will hike along the seashore and visit the Turghju tower on the mighty Capu Rossu rock. Guests return to Ajaccio in the evening. The trip ends at around 6pm.

Single supplement: starting from €205 in low season, €215 in the middel season and €245 in high season (subject to availability)
The hiking trip starts and ends at the port station in Ajaccio.
Participants are asked to organize transport to and from the port station themselves. You may extend your stay in Corsica if you wish.

This trip is suitable for all who regularly do sports or are experienced hikers.
Corsica has a partly alpine terrain.
Average length of the hikes: 4 hours per day or 6 to 10 km on hiking trails without special difficulties, provided that you are in good physical condition.
The guide is a French, state-certified mountain guide who specializes in the region. The trip is in French.
We recommend an eco-friendly long-distance train followed by a ferry to Ajaccio port station in Corsica.
