Brittany: Crozon & Ouessant

6-Day guided tour in the Breton peninsulas

  • Hiking the coast of Brittany with luggage transfer
  • 6 days, 5 nights, 4 legs
  • Ferry transfers to islands and peninsulas
  • Half board and lunchtime picnics
  • Prehistoric structures

Experience the extreme west of France on the peninsula Crozon and the island Ouessant, an exceptional island hike in Brittany. This 6-day guided hike takes you to picturesque fishing villages, wild coasts, beautiful beaches, rare wild birds and the Créac’h lighthouse.

“Finis Terrae”, the end of the continent at the far end of the Breton peninsula, has given the department its present name. Across the Bay of Brest is the Crozon Peninsula, whose coastline is alternately characterised by dunes, fine sandy beaches and rugged cliffs with underwater caves looking out of the ocean surface like stone fortresses. Protected by UNESCO as the Iroise Biosphere Reserve and more recently as a maritime national park around the Ile d'Ouessant, this region is a world contained in itself and is also known as the Island of Light, a mythical island and transition point to the Celtic sphere.
