A week to wind down and recharge your batteries in Brittany, a natural seaside and countryside setting. Enjoy a varied program at a holiday farmhouse from classic calming techniques like yoga, Qi-Gong, pilates, etc. and lesser-known ones like Afghan walking and the Feldenkrais technique.
Our qualified practitioners assisting you in the exercises will also show you the natural and cultural treasures of Morbihan, during walks or in the jolly evenings.
Day 1: Arrival & winding down
Participants will be received starting from 5pm with tea and a briefing of the week's itinerary.
They will have an introduction to the calming techniques after dinner.
Day 2: Yoga & the Rhuys Peninsula
Starting from 10am, the participants will have a go to mindful yoga classes for all levels. This technique relaxes the mind through poses. In the afternoon, a transfer takes them to the peninsula of Rhuys (Suscinio Castle, St Gildas de Rhuys). There will be a yoga nidra session after dinner.
Day 3: Naturopathy & relaxation
Day 3 also starts at 10am. Participants join a conference and workshop on naturopathy. The afternoon is free and may be used to meditate, stroll (bicycles are available for hire on site) or enjoy massages (shiatsu, Balinese, chi nei tsang, foot reflexology) or a naturopathic session*.
*massages and naturopathy sessions subject to surcharge
Day 4: Qi Gong & meditation
Today starts with an introduction to Qi Gong at 10 before participants receive an introduction to mindfulness meditation after lunch. We would also like to introduce them to soothing musical relaxation after dinner.
Day 5: Essential oils & "Do-In" self-massage
Once again at 10, participants take part in an essential oils and "Do In" self-massage workshop. The purpose of this activity is to introduce you to the benefits of essential oils, to learn the main "relaxing" oils and to know how to use them. It is followed by a foot self-massage workshop ("Do-In").
After lunch, they will be free to choose between massages such as shiatsu, balinese, chi nei tsang, foot reflexology; or naturopathy* sessions
* Care with supplements
Day 6: Pilates and Feldenkrais technique
The day kicks of with a session of Pilates or the Feldenkrais technique. Feldenkrais is a gentle gymnastics program that aims to increase the ease, efficiency and pleasure of the moving body through the development of body awareness. Guests pay another visit to the Rhuys Peninsula and walk from St Armel to Sarzeau. Participants will see its salt marshes and an oyster farmer. Guests are treated to some live Celtic music in the evening.
Day 7: Afghan walking on the island of Arz & Vannes
Digital detox: laptops aside today!
A day trip to the island of Arz. Guests will be transferred there and attempt some Afghan walking. It is a form of mindful walking that combines cardiac coherence and mindfulness, to cover longer distances at a faster pace without fatigue. By synchronizing your breathing with the rhythm of your steps, you get better oxygen, rest your heart, and stimulate your blood circulation. The Afghan walk also allows you to work on your posture by unlocking your pelvis and shoulders. Once that's done, participants can practice some mindfulness meditation and have a swim if they wish. They will then visit Vannes in the late afternoon.
Day 8: Departure
Participants enjoy one last breakfast to conclude an eventful week before going their separate ways. Check-out is at 10am.
