Day 1: Ossès and Mount Oylarandoy
Welcome to the heart of the Basque Country! Participants meet at 9:30am at the SNCF train station in Saint Jean de Luz. They can opt for the pick-up service at Biarritz airport at 8:15 am (please ask in advance). Transfer from St Jean-de-Luz for a walk on the slopes of the Oylarandoy mountain (933m).
Participants continue to Ossès, a charming village with typical red Basque houses. Check-in at the hotel and first yoga session.

Day 2: Larla and the mountain ridges of Iparla
After a morning yoga session, hike to the heights of Larla (705m), from where you overlook the Nive valley above Saint-Martin-d'Arrossa. Enjoy the view of the ridges of Iparla, adorned with red sandstone peaks.

Day 3: Hasparren and the Mondarrain summit
An easy hike on the slopes of Mondarrain with beautiful beech forests. The peaceful nature is only broken by a herd of horses or fascinating birds of prey in the sky. Particpants will visit and walk through the village of Hasparren on the way back.

Day 4: Harriondi and the mountain massif of Iparla
Participants navigate their way around Harriondi at the foot of the Iparla massif with its characteristic ochre tones. Participants can decide whether they want to mount the Harrihandi. The view of the Baïgura mountain and the "Penas d'Itchusi" opposite is worth the effort.

Day 5: Ispuéguy, St Jean-Pied de Port and certified Ossau-Iraty cheese
Participants will be transferred to the Ispuéguy Pass, where the day's hike begins on a ridge path. They will see the top of the Orhy in the distance behind the mountainous landscapes. Next, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, a historic Basque village.If time permits, the group can decide to visit the Aldudes cheese dairy (visit not included in price) to discover the history of the protected Ossau-Iraty sheep's cheese.

Day 6: End of the journey
Departure after breakfast so that participants are in St Jean-de-Luz around 12 o'clock

Participants will receive picnic lunches to take along, dinner will be served in the accommodation. The cook will prepare delicious and fresh dishes for you. Homemade pastries for breakfast.
Well feasible for people who exercise regularly. 3 to 5 hours of hiking per day on paths with a slight and sometimes steeper gradient.
There will be daily yoga classes. The Hatha Yoga Path combines physical exercises, conscious breathing (breathing dynamics), concentration exercises and meditation that appeal to people at every level. Through certain postures and breathing techniques yoga enables us to develop an inner vitality that releases enormous energy and well-being.
We assure participants a certified French mountain guide with a state diploma. He is a specialist of the region as well as for yoga.
We recommend an eco-friendly train ride with the TGV (French long-distance train) or night train to Saint-Jean-de-Luz, these can be from Paris via Bordeaux or from Lyon via Toulouse and Pau.
