Weather and climate

Marseille and its surroundings have a Mediterranean climate, meaning 300 sunny days per year. Orange trees, broom, thyme, rosemary and other typical plants of the Mediterranean coast can be found along the winding paths of the Côte Bleue and in the city. Due to the warmth of spring and the mildness of autumn, you can bathe very early and very late in the year. In summer the heat can be unbearable.

Level of difficulty: medium

Average length of hikes: 2-6 hours per day with breaks and frequent bathing opportunities.
Participants must be absolutely free from vertigo.
Not suitable for beginners!
The luggage will be taken from one accommodation to the next. All you have to do is carry your personal belongings for the day.

Getting there

We recommend a low-carbon train to Marseille for those already in France. The efficient use of public transportation on the area allows us to have a very low CO2 emission stay in harmony with the fragile nature of the Côte Bleue.
